How it works
How does PRP Therapy work?
The procedure involves drawing the patient’s blood and placing it in a machine that separates the blood into 3 layers; red blood cells, PRP and plasma. Only PRP is obtained as it has the highest healing properties and growth factors.
The PRP is then injected into the skin/scalp through microneedling. Microneedling uses a sterile roller/stamp with micro-needles to create micro-damage on the skin/scalp. The micro-damage stimulates collagen production and allows maximum absorption of PRP.
On the skin, PRP therapy helps to repair the skin so it grows back healthily and more thicker. For the scalp, PRP therapy stimulates inactive hair follicles resulting in the growth of new healthy hair and thickening of existing hairs.

About prp therapy
What condition it treats
PRP therapy can help treat atrophic/sunken scars that occur when wound healing is inadequate. There are three types of atrophic scars which are icepick, boxcar and rolling scars. This treatment aims to restore the deficit in collagen by stimulating collagen production.
Enlarged pores are caused by genetics, oily skin and aging. PRP therapy stimulates collagen production and the body’s natural repair process. This encourages the growth of new skin and reduces the appearance of pores.
