How it works

How does PRP Therapy work?

The procedure involves drawing the patient’s blood and placing it in a machine that separates the blood into 3 layers; red blood cells, white blood cells and platelet-rich plasma(PRP). Only PRP is obtained as it has high healing properties and growth factors.

PRP is then injected into the skin through microneedling. Microneedling uses sterile roller/stamp with micro-needles to create micro-damage on the skin. The micro-damage stimulates collagen production and allows maximum absorption of PRP. As a result, the skin will become tighter, smoother, and also improve overall skin tone.

About prp therapy

What condition it treats

Growth Factor therapy can help treat atrophic/sunken scars that occur when wound healing is inadequate. There are three types of atrophic scars which are icepick, boxcar and rolling scars. This treatment aims to restore the deficit in collagen by stimulating collagen production.

Enlarged pores are caused by genetics, oily skin and aging. Growth Factor therapy stimulates collagen production and the body’s natural repair process. This encourages the growth of new skin and reduces the appearance of pores.

As we age, fine wrinkles and wrinkles start to appear because there is a lack of collagen. Growth Factor therapy helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles by stimulating collagen production.
