In today’s modern world, beauty and aesthetics itself is seen as a currency. The higher we ascend Maslow’s Hierarchy, the more we want to look beautiful and presentable. Hence, we see more and more clients seeking to enhance themselves aesthetically. Despite this rush to look impeccable, Aesthetic Medicine is still in its infantile stages in Malaysia, especially when it comes to rules and regulations.

Therefore, it is our duty to maintain an ethical practice by presenting clients with only the truth by keeping ourselves up-to-date so as not to short-change them. Apart from being knowledgeable, patience and tact are a must as we sit and listen carefully to what every client wants because no two clients are ever the same. And when it finally comes to the aesthetic treatment itself, moderation is key so that clients always emerge refreshed and confident, yet natural.

I graduated from the University of Malaya in 2005. Today, I continue to attend courses with a keen and open mind, both locally and internationally to keep up with the ever-changing world of aesthetic medicine.
