Preparation for Cosmetic Breast Augmentation

Is there an injection to increase breast size?

There’s no magic bullet when it comes to increasing breast size, but there are a few options available. The best option is still breast implants that are surgically inserted under the skin. Another is to inject fat into the breasts, which can add volume and make them look larger. This procedure is called fat grafting breast augmentation. Fat grafting involves taking fat from other parts of the body and injecting them into the breast. Ultimately, the fat gives rise to more breast fat and increases the breast size. This procedure is like hitting two birds with one stone as the patient can get a fuller looking breasts and a slimmer figure. Depending on the patient’s breast size, at GEM aesthetic clinic Malaysia our surgeon will often combine fat grafting and breast implant to give a more natural result and significant increase in breast size.

What are the types of cosmetic breast surgery?

Cosmetic breast surgery is done to enhance the size and shape of a woman’s breasts and is typically the only way to achieve the desired results. It is one of the most popular cosmetic surgeries, and it can be done in a variety of ways;

  1. The most common type of breast surgery is the use of implants, which are inserted into the chest area to increase the size and shape of the breasts. This surgery is usually done under general anesthesia, and the recovery time is usually short.
  2. Fat transfer, which is a procedure where fat is taken from one area of the body and injected into the breasts to increase their size and shape.
  3. Breast lift, which is a procedure that removes excess skin and tissue from the breasts to create a more youthful appearance.

How do I prepare myself for breast augmentation?

  1.  It’s important to have a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and expectations. During your consultation, your surgeon will likely ask you to try on different implant sizes and shapes to get an idea of what you’re looking for.
  2. Once you’ve decided on a surgeon, you’ll need to get a few tests done prior to surgery. These may include a mammogram, breast MRI, and/or breast ultrasound. Your surgeon will also likely do a physical exam and order blood tests. All of these tests are important in order to make sure you are a good candidate for surgery and to help your surgeon plan your surgery.
  3. In the weeks leading up to surgery, you’ll need to avoid smoking, drinking, and taking certain medications as they can increase your risk of bleeding during surgery.
  4. You’ll also need to arrange for someone to drive you home after surgery and stay with you for at least the first 24 hours.

Breast augmentation is a safe and effective way to achieve your desired look. By taking the time to prepare for surgery, you can help ensure that your surgery goes smoothly and that you’re happy with your results.

What is the best procedure for breast augmentation?

There are many factors to consider when choosing the best procedure for breast augmentation;

  1. The most important factor is the type of implant used. There are two main types of implants: saline and silicone. Saline implants are filled with sterile salt water and are considered to be the safer option. Silicone implants are filled with silicone gel and are considered to be the more natural-looking option. However, silicone implants are more likely to rupture and leak than saline implants.
  2. Placement of the implant. There are two main types of placement: Traditional and Dual Plane methods. Traditional method placement is when the implant is placed behind the breast tissue but over the muscle. Dual Plane method placement is when the upper half of the implant is placed behind the muscle while the lower half rests on the muscle. At GEM aesthetic clinic Malaysia, we use Dual Plane method as it gives a more natural look and feel. It is generally considered to be the safer option because it is less likely to cause complications such as capsular contracture.
  3. Type of incision used to place the implant. There are three main types of incisions: inframammary, periareolar, and transaxillary. Inframammary incisions are made in the crease underneath the breast. Periareolar incisions are made around the nipple. Transaxillary incisions are made in the armpit. Inframammary and periareolar incisions are the most common and are considered to be the best.

However, it is important to discuss all of your options with your plastic surgeon to make sure that you are choosing the best option for you.
